JTR Mailing List Charter

The patron of this list is Kalle Pihlajasaari.

There is also the address for an allied list that discusses a narrower range of topics focusing on radial turbines made using standard turbo chargers in more detail.

Charter

This is a general list called JTR for jets, turbines and rockets.

This is a general list with any kind of discussion about the above with a personal or diy component. The charter does not allow for posting of binaries, rather place them on a server somewhere and post a pointer or URL.

This includes discussion on Jet engines (pulse, turbo, ram), turbines (automotive, model, research, modified commercial) and rockets (solid fuel, liquid fuel, hybrid fuel) and allied technologies.

How to JOIN the mailing list

You can join a list by sending mail to one of the addresses below. To get more info put the word help on its own in the subject and body of your message and the list-server may send you a list of other commands.

Do everyone a favour and save the message you get from the list server when you join.

The joining message usually describes the various list server commands, the address you should send them to and especially how to leave a list. The address that you send mail to is not the same as the one you send commands to. Some list servers have one command address for many lists and you have to know what the name of the list is that you want to control.

Use LEAVE instead of JOIN to remove yourself from the list. Send all commands to the list from the same Email address.
